Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history within the construction industry and will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can work effectively within a busy office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring bills and invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Comparing purchase orders, pricing, and terms for charges.
  • General Ledger coding for payments.
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable functions.
  • Utilizing Sage 300 software for processing.
  • Performing reconciliation tasks.
  • Exercising advanced Excel skills, including building financial models, automating reports, and analyzing large/complex financial and operational data sets.

Qualifications:

  • Stable work history within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Sage 300 software is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience in full-cycle accounts payable processing.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with vendors.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 100% in office.
